Fly into adventure by unearthing the truth about dinosaurs. Discover how prehistoric animals can be found in your own backyard.
One-Day Camp and Overnight
Digging for Dinosaurs
April 6 - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
or 8 a.m. April 6 to 9 a.m. April 7
Step back in time and be an extreme paleontologist. Uncover fossils, evaluate dinosaurs, and solve the mystery of—are Dinosaurs Dead or Alive? If you are between the ages of 7 and 12, extend your expedition with an overnight to take on the dinos after dark.
March 26 - 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dino Hunt - Kindergarten & 1st Grade
How big were dinosaurs? What did they really look like? What animals today are related to dinosaurs? Trek through the dinosaur exhibit and hunt for these answers!
We Dig Dinosaurs! - 2nd & 3rd Grade
Become a Dino Guide and go back in time to a world of adventure, risk, and intrigue. The adventure begins more than 200 million years ago when dinosaurs ruled the world. Unearth ancient fossils and discover if these animals still roam the planet today.
Discovering Dinos - 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade
Trek through Dinosaurs: Dead or Alive? to unearth magnificent facts about dinosaurs and their present-day cousins. Become a paleontologist and steer your way through dinosaur stomping grounds to investigate body structures and habitats.

Dino Extinction
One last chance to see our dinosaurs before they go extinct! Don’t pass up on this final journey through the past and into the future. Be surprised on what we can still unearth.

Campers work with local Brevard County artists learning about animals in a new and exciting way through art, music, dance, and dramatic play! If you enjoy art and animals, the Zoo has an art camp that explores the creativity in both our campers and zoo animals.

Eye Spy

Can you fill the shoes of an undercover animal spy? Discover the way animals look, move, and behave while solving daily mysteries.
Zoosical Suessical Adventure
June 11-15; 25-29; July 9-13; 23-27
Explore the zoo world through the wild and wacky characters of Dr. Suess. Read his books and take a look at some animals, their coverings, home, and movements.

Why has the giraffe gained weight? What did the kookaburra have for dinner? Become a zoo investigator and discover how animal experts answer important questions like these. Meet creatures, talk to keepers, take measurements, examine bones, and solve mysteries.
Habitat Hunters

Observe different animals and discover what adaptations make them perfectly suited to their homes. Travel to the rainforests of South America, the deserts of Australia, the savannas of Africa, and the waters of Florida!

Jr. Zookeepers: Out Into the Field

Zookeepers have the wildest job on earth! Animal keepers do not just take care of animals within a zoo, but go out into the field and observe what is happening around us. Explore animal behaviors and biology in this high-flying camp.
Jr. Zookeepers: Life as an Animal
June 11-15; 25-29; July 9-13; 23-27
Become a zookeeper in training and discover what it takes to do the wildest job on earth! Discover what it is like to be an animal in a zoo by getting up close and personal exploring exhibits and talking to zookeepers.

Earth Explorers: Off the Beaten Path!
June 4-8;11-15; 18-22; 25-29; July 9-13; 23-27; 30-August 3
Learn about the fascinating and unique natural wonders that are part of Central Florida. Spend a week exploring wetlands, beaches, sub-tropical forests, and the Indian River Lagoon. This intense experience is limited to 12 explorers and includes special offsite field trips. Lunch is included.
$10 discount per camp if registering between February 2 – April 15, 2012.
